The purpose of this PART-TIME (4-6 hrs/week) role is to support WDBC’s gospel witness by providing consistent, engaging media content that clarifies, enhances, and reinforces the church’s vision to see all people transformed, by God’s Word and Spirit, through faith in Christ.  This content will be utilised for clear communication across all available channels, both internal and external to our faith community.  This role will succeed as WDBC’s communications are effective, targeted, and credible.

Role Expectations

• An enthusiastic commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ & His Church
• Ability to produce professional grade visual media and design content that is consistent with the gospel and WDBC’s vision and values
• Availability to capture digital media content suitable for reproduction
• Facility with major social media platforms to enhance WDBC’s profile and engagement with its community
• Proficiency with editing software so as to work within given time frames
• Professional attitude, work ethic, and communication in a team setting

Ongoing Responsibilities

• Provide media consistent in quality and messaging for use across WDBC events, ministries, programs, and teaching content
• Develop reproducible processes, templates, and themes for ministries
• Enhance WDBC’s public profile and witness
• Offer creative input that enhances ministry engagement

Weekly Tasks (4-6 hours per week; time managed according to priority)*

• Attend required briefings with pastors/leaders for content direction
• Capture, source, or edit any required media for content creation**
• Draft proofs to show to pertinent ministries or leaders for content review
• Liaise with WDBC administrative staff to ensure content distribution
• Manage weekly content publicised on WDBC social media platforms
