At the Bargain Barn you can shop for second-hand clothing and other goods at great discounted prices. The Barn has been operating since 2003 and over the time it has been operating it continues to grow in both range of items available and popularity, operated by some friendly volunteers who are always up for a chat. Lately we have had visitors from local nursing homes visit as part of day outings pick up some bargains. Occasionally we will have specials such as fill a bag for $5, keep an eye out in the local Courier newspaper as we advertise our specials there.
The Bargain Barn operates on the generousity of the local community accepting donations of second-hand clothing and goods to resell to the community for very cheap. It helps to support the needy in the community or those just after a good bargain. Money raised goes to the church to help support its work in the community or shared with other worthy caused such as the bushfire appeal, flood appeal and international aid. The Barn is run by 33 volunteers who donate thier time in support of it.
