Interview: Joey Millard
Hey Friends!
I’m super excited to share this short interview I did with Joey Millard of Sunrise International Ministires.
You might be asking, “Who’s Joey?” Well, Joey and I have a friendship that goes way back to Wheaton College, where we shared majors and an apartment.
He was an influential voice in discerning a call to ministry and the decision to enroll in theological study at TEDS.
But really he’s just a guy that loves Jesus and wants to share that joy with others. He and his wife, Ai, live in northern Japan where they serve as missionaries planting churches - particularly among the young people.
We took some time to catch-up over Zoom to discuss a few things:
How the church should respond to national disasters
How we can continue “being” the church even in isolation
What lessons churches in the West can learn from churches on the margins in society
Where we have seen God’s faithfulness, particularly in response to prayer
Hope you enjoy!
