Coming Back to Church
While we’ve appreciated the lessons learned over the past few months, we are also really excited to get back to church and worshipping together.
Planning to Come To Church?
If you want to join us for a Sunday worship service, you must fill out this form to attend by 12pm on the prior Friday.
In the event that we receive more requests than can be accommodated, priority will be given to those who have difficulty accessing our digital service or to those facing hardship and/or social isolation.
Corporate Worship Guidelines
Here are the present conditions under which we can return to church, as informed by the government guidelines:
Worship gatherings must be less than 50 persons, excluding staff and volunteers running the service.
Attendees must maintain social distance from those they do not reside with, applying the 4 sq.m. rule at all times.
There is to be no singing from the congregation, nor will there by passing of the offering bag or communion elements.
All who attend are required to register their presence through name, phone number, and a health declaration in response to the COVID-19 questions.
Morning tea will not be provided at this time.
Little Kids Church, Kids Church, and Anchored Youth are not running at this time, though team leaders are providing online engagement materials through Facebook.
Those who attend should be mindful that the service is being live-streamed, and should expect some differences from our traditional format.
What To Expect On Arrival
When you show up to church, you will be welcomed and directed to a list where we will ask you to mark off your name fill-in any missing details for your group.
Upon entry you will be given some hand sanitizer, then directed to a seat that complies with social distancing requirements.
Prior to the service starting, Pastor Jonathan will address those present with a few instructions regarding the live-stream format. This will also be a time for you to ask any questions.
Our pre-service material goes “LIVE” about 9:20am. If you arrive after that time, we ask that you enter the auditorium quietly.
