Thank you so much for giving your time, talents and heart to serve our WDBC family. Each ministry helps to build up the body of Christ, and we’re so grateful and blessed to have such a virbrant community that honours God and loves each other.

Safe Church Policy

All WDBC ministries are run in accordance with our Safe Church Policy which helps us provide a safe place for people to come together to love God and love each other. To comply with the policy, we need to keep records of everyone who serves in a ministry.

Forms for Ministry Team Leaders to Complete

For any ministries where there are people under the age of 16 (either serving or being ministered to), all volunteers will need to have a valid Working with Children Check (WCC)

For All Volunteers:

• have them complete an Induction Checklist

• Interview them, and complete the Record of Interview

If your Ministry relates to children or young people (ie, Creche, WDBC Kids, Anchored Youth etc.) please have parents fill out the following form in relation to their child(ren) - Ministry Information Form

Forms for Volunteers to complete

Volunteers aged 16 years or under need to complete the following forms:

• Code of Conduct for Volunteers Under 16

• Volunteer Under 16 Parent/Guardian Permission

• Volunteer Induction Checklist
  

Volunteers aged 18 years and older need to complete the following forms:

• Code of Conduct

• Screening Questionnaire (16-17 years)

• Screening Questionnaire (18 years +)

• Application Form for Volunteers in NON Child-Related Work

Ministry Events

Our various ministry events provide the space for everyone at WDBC and our surrounding community to come together in social settings and encourage each other in our faith.

With so many ways to communicate, it’s important to advertise our events appropriately so that everyone has the opportunity to be included and blessed!

If you’re a Ministry Team Leader here at WDBC, please fill out the ‘Event Request Form’ so that our staff can support you in promoting your event.
